Coaching - Peer Mentoring - Community

Mama P Coaching

Because motherhood was never meant to be done alone.Trauma-informed, neuro-affirming coaching and peer support for single mothers.

Hi, I'm Penny

I'm a single mum, coach, peer mentor, and community builder. My work is grounded in a simple belief: many of the struggles that mothers face are not personal failures. They are often the result of systems that expect us to carry too much with little or no meaningful support. For too long, mothers have been told to "do better" or "be better" and held to impossible standards.I'm interested in a different conversation. One that centres connection, meaningful support, community care, and the wisdom that comes from lived experience. My role isn't to tell you what to do. It's to walk alongside you as you reconnect with your own strengths, values, voice, and capacity.

My approach

My work draws from:• Intentional Peer Support principles
• Neuro-affirming practice
• Trauma-informed practice
• Feminist perspectives
• Strengths-based coaching
• Lived experience
I believe healing and growth happen in relationships.I believe community is a protective factor.I believe mothers deserve more than survival.

Who do I support?

I work with mothers who are:• Raising children on their own or with limited support
• Recovering from difficult relationships, family trauma, or burnout
• Neurodivergent, questioning, diagnosed, or self-identifying
• Feeling isolated and craving genuine connection
• Seeking support that honours their lived experience
• Wanting to build lives that feel more aligned with their values
• Looking for community rather than judgement
You don't need to be in crisis to deserve support. You don't need to have everything figured out before reaching out.

Frequently asked questions...

Is this therapy?
No. Coaching and peer mentoring are not therapy and do not replace mental health treatment.
My role is to provide support, reflection, lived-experience insights, accountability and practical tools to help you reach your goals. Is this only for neurodivergent mums?
No. Everyone is welcome. My approach (from lived and professional experience) is neuro-affirming and particularly supportive of autistic, ADHD, and otherwise neurodivergent people. But this kind of support creates a safe space for everyone.
